The drawers, the car, the coat pockets, the bag you already emptied onto the bed. The more you search, the more it seems to hide, and the harder it is to think clearly. Tell me what is lost and where you last had it, and I hold the finding at my table: the path back between you and what is yours, your own mind calm enough to see it, and the pictures of where it rests, as they come to me.

Delivery

Held at my table and in your inbox the same day, seven days a week, during my active hours. When people write to me about a lost ring or a grandmother's brooch, the object is rarely the whole of it. It carries a person, a promise, a day. I have held many finding spells, and the first thing I do is slow everything down, because what is lost is so often found by a calm hand, not a frantic one.

Your name and the thing you have lost go on paper side by side, tied together with a length of red thread, the old thread of finding. A candle burns, and I speak the old words that people have spoken to Saint Anthony for centuries when something was missing. Then I sit with the picture of the object back in your hand and watch for what comes: a room, a colour, a height, a direction, a word.

Your report tells you what came to me, where to look first and how to look, and gives you a small finding ritual of your own for the days that follow.

What I hold

Finding spells are among the oldest spells there are. In Catholic homes across Europe and the Americas people still ask Saint Anthony of Padua, the patron of lost things, to help them find what is missing, often with a little rhyme said out loud. In other kitchens a thread is tied around a chair leg, or a sock is knotted until the lost thing turns up. What all of them do is the same: they settle the one who is searching, and they point the mind back to where it has not yet looked. That is what I hold for you, together with the thread back to what is yours. More than 2,000 happy customers have sat at my table.

What you receive

A report written for you alone: the pictures, places and directions that came to me for your lost item

Where to look first, and how to search with a calm hand

A small finding ritual of your own for the days that follow

I check in with you, and you can always reply to my e-mail: I read it and answer you

Everything by e-mail, in English, German, Dutch, French or Spanish

One price, and what comes free with it

€8.88 for the ritual at my table and your written report.
