The internet knows me as the Etsy witch for weather. Fair enough: more than fifteen hundred brides, festival-goers and holidaymakers have found me that way, and the sky has been kind to most of them. But weather was never the whole table. On any given day there are more names in front of me asking for work than asking for sun: a job that pays properly, an interview on Thursday, a promotion that keeps slipping, the nerve to leave. So here is the other half of the answer to the question I get most: what do you actually do?
This is how I do a job spell, step by step, and what you can do at your own table, this very week.
First, what a job spell is
In my hands, a job spell is an intention for your working life, held with full attention for one person: your name and your goal on paper, a candle, and words spoken aloud as already true. It does not fill in application forms and it does not phone the recruiter. It works on the one thing every employer reads first, which is you. You walk in clear about your direction and sure of your worth, and doors answer to that.
It is also very old. People have asked for good work for as long as there has been work: the bay leaf with a wish written on it, burned in the kitchen; the ear of wheat carried through the night to San Cayetano in Buenos Aires every 7 August, asking for bread and work; the first coin earned, framed on the wall of a new shop. And it stands on the same ground as the law of attraction: what you picture with feeling, as if it is already yours, you draw towards you like a magnet. I hold that picture with you, and for you.
What happens when your order comes in
Your name and your date of birth go on paper, in my handwriting, and beneath them the words you wrote me about your work: the role, the company you are hoping to hear from, the thing you are ready to leave behind. Your words, not mine. I keep the papers of one day together, and I sit down with them at my table.
A candle is lit for you, and beside it a piece of tiger's eye, the stone I reach for when someone needs to be seen for what they can do. Then I do the thing I believe in more than anything else in this work: I speak your intention aloud, in the present tense, as if it is already so. Not "please let them call", but "her work is seen, and the right door is open". And I feel it, in my body, the way you would feel it on the day the message comes: the ease in the shoulders, the quiet pride, the smile nobody has to make. I stay there, in a quiet that is yours alone, until the feeling is whole.
I believe words have power and emotions have power, and that when the two meet, something happens that I can only describe as a field. I have watched too many people change their working lives this way to explain it away. I also do not need to explain it. I just do it, every day, for the names on my table.
Then I write to you
When the candle is out, I write down what I noticed while I held your work: the feeling of it, the places where it was already moving, the one or two places that wanted more attention, and the timing as it came to me, in universal terms. That becomes your report. It is written for you alone, from what you shared and what I sensed, and it arrives the same day, seven days a week, during my active hours.
The report ends with one sentence for the day you act: a message you send, an interview you walk into, a conversation you finally ask for. Short, in the present tense, about you. Most people tell me afterwards that this sentence is the thing they remember.
Your part, and it is the strongest part
Every evening until the door opens: a candle, a glass of water, and your working day as if it is already here. See the door you open, the people who are glad you are there, the work that uses the best of you. Feel the ease in your shoulders and the quiet pride, three slow breaths long. Say your sentence aloud, and drink the water. Then do one thing the next day that the person in that picture would do. Two people holding one clear picture pull harder than one, and your own choices remain the strongest force there is.
And then I stay with you
This is the part I care about most, and the part that is different from a listing you order and forget. Afterwards I check in with you. You receive my small guide After Your Reading, with the morning ritual: a candle, a glass of water, one sentence, one true feeling, and a thank you. Aftercare is not an extra with me; it is the norm, because this work can shift things, and I want you to leave with more strength, energy and clarity than you arrived with.
What comes back to my table
I would rather show you than tell you. These are about work, and I read each of them twice.
"Absolute fantastic reading that described my situation and provided warm guidance and perspective of multiple outcomes."
Kelly, September 2026
"This is not the first reading I bought from Ivy and I am glad to have come back because it really helped me finally motivate myself to take my life into my own hands."
Sonntagskind, August 2026
"I've worked with a number of psychics, and I'm blown away by Ivy. The level of detail, accuracy, and the amount of care she puts into each reading is amazing. So thankful to have found her!"
Nicole, September 2026
I did not get those jobs. They did. I held the picture, and something met them halfway.
Which one is yours?
If you know where you want to go and you need the nerve and the open door, begin with the Career Ritual. If there is one date that matters, an interview, an exam, a presentation, the Exam & Interview Blessing is held for that one day, with a sentence to carry into the room. If the business is your own, a shop, a studio, a practice, the Business Success Ritual is written for exactly that. And if you are standing at a fork and want to see the roads first, the Career Reading shows you both, and it is half price beside any of the three.
Is it different on my own site?
Same ritual, same table, same report. Here it is one price, held the same day, seven days a week, with the reading at half price beside it if you want one, and all of the aftercare included. And you can write to me directly, as a real message, at any point. I answer every one myself.
Questions people ask me about job spells
Are you the same Etsy witch who does the weather spells?
Yes. Same table, same candle, same care. Weather is what the internet found first; work, love, home and money have been on my table just as long.
What do you need from me for a job spell?
Your first name, your date of birth and your intention in your own words. One true detail makes it warmer: the role you want, the company you are hoping to hear from, the thing you are ready to leave behind.
How fast is a job spell held?
The same day, seven days a week, during my active hours. Orders placed while I am resting are first in line when I return, and your report arrives by e-mail.
What can I expect?
A ritual held with care on the day you order, a report written for you alone, and afterwards I check in with you. I promise no outcome: this is spiritual guidance, offered for entertainment purposes, alongside good career advice and never instead of it. What I give you is my full attention, and a way to walk in knowing your worth.
If your question is a job, begin with the Career Ritual. If it is one date, the Exam & Interview Blessing. And if you are not sure, the spell finder asks you one question and shows you what I would hold.
Go well, and walk in as the one they have been looking for.
Ivy
