These are the terms under which Ivy Veil works with you. They are written in plain words on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to ivy@theivyveil.com and it is explained in the same plain words.
1. Who Ivy Veil is
Ivy Veil is a trading name of Magnolia Creations B.V., a private limited company under Dutch law. In these terms, "Ivy Veil" means Magnolia Creations B.V. trading as Ivy Veil.

Ivy Veil does not have a telephone line. Every message is read with care and answered within a few hours, seven days a week. The jewellery sold on the same site consists of physical pieces in premium stainless steel with a natural stone, shipped by post.
2. What Ivy Veil offers, and what it is
Ivy Veil provides personal, written spiritual guidance and ceremonies for reflection, comfort and inspiration. Readings and rituals are offered for spiritual and entertainment purposes. They are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and no outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Ivy Veil offers three kinds of things.
Readings and ritual reports. Personal written texts, made for you alone from what you share, delivered digitally by e-mail. Rituals are performed by hand at Ivy's table every day, for all ritual orders of that day, and your report is written from what was noted while your intention was held. The practice is described truthfully and in general terms; no event is ever invented that did not take place.
Jewellery. Physical pieces in stainless steel with a PVD gold or silver colour finish and real gemstones, shipped worldwide from the Netherlands. A stone can carry a meaning for you; it does not heal, cure or protect against anything, and Ivy Veil never claims that it does.
Later: The Weekly Circle, a monthly membership, and gift cards. The rules for these are in sections 9 and 10 and apply once they are offered.
Every reading is written for you alone. Nothing is copied, nothing is reused.
3. Ordering and personalisation
You order through theivyveil.com. A contract is made when you complete the checkout and Ivy Veil confirms your order by e-mail. Ivy Veil may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, when it asks for something Ivy Veil does not do (see section 11), when fraud is suspected, or when you cannot be reached for information that is needed.
For a reading or ritual, Ivy Veil needs what the product page asks for: usually your full name and date of birth, the date, place and occasion where relevant, your question or intention, and the language of your report. The more you share, the more personal your reading. If something essential is missing or unreadable, Ivy writes to you and the delivery window pauses until the missing detail is in. If nothing is heard from you within seven days, the order is cancelled and refunded in full.
Please give information about yourself, or about a situation you are part of. When you mention other people, do so only as far as your own question needs it.
Prices, product names and descriptions are shown as accurately as possible. Where an obvious error has slipped in, Ivy Veil may correct it and give you the choice to keep or cancel the order.
4. Delivery of readings and ritual reports
Your reading is sent to the e-mail address on your order, as a personal message from Ivy. Nothing is posted; nothing is downloaded from a link that expires.
Readings are delivered within one hour of your order and ritual reports on the same day, during Ivy's active hours, seven days a week, counted from the moment your order and your details reach Ivy. Orders placed outside those hours are delivered first when Ivy resumes, and at the latest within 24 hours of your order. That 24-hour window is what Ivy Veil promises; in practice almost every report arrives much sooner.
For rituals performed at Ivy's table, the ritual takes place on the first ritual day after your order, provided your details are complete.
If a window ever cannot be met, you are told as soon as it is known, and you may cancel for a full refund until the report has been delivered.
5. Your right of withdrawal
You are a consumer buying at a distance, so you have a legal right of withdrawal. How it works depends on what you bought.
You can always withdraw online, without logging in, via Withdraw from contract here, also at the bottom of every page. You fill in your name, e-mail address and order number, check your statement and press Confirm withdrawal. You receive a confirmation by e-mail with the content of your withdrawal and the date and time it was received.
5.1 Readings and ritual reports
A reading is a personal service, made for you and delivered digitally. Because work begins right away, you agree at checkout to this sentence:
"I ask for delivery to begin right away and understand that I lose the right of withdrawal once my reading is delivered. I am 18 or older."
This means: you may cancel free of charge at any time before your report is delivered, simply by replying to your order confirmation. Once the report has been sent to you by e-mail, the service has been performed in full and the right of withdrawal has ended. Your consent is confirmed in your order confirmation e-mail, so you have it on record.
If you cancel while a ritual has already been held for you but the report has not been written, you are still refunded in full. That is Ivy Veil's choice, and it is made gladly.
5.2 Jewellery
You have 14 days from the day you (or someone you name) receive the jewellery to tell Ivy Veil that you are returning it. You do not need a reason. Then you have another 14 days to send it back.
You may look at the piece and try it on as you would in a shop. Wear beyond that, damage, or missing packaging may reduce the refund, because Ivy Veil is allowed to deduct the loss in value. Please return the piece unworn, in its original box, with the card. Earrings, for reasons of hygiene, can only be returned with the seal intact where a seal is present.
You pay the cost of the return shipment. Ivy Veil refunds the price and the original standard shipping cost within 14 days of receiving the piece back, or of receiving your proof of postage, whichever comes first, using the payment method you used.

5.3 The Weekly Circle
You may withdraw from a new membership within 14 days of joining. If a weekly ritual has already been held for you in that time, Ivy Veil may keep a proportional part of the first month and refund the rest. After that, see section 9: you can cancel at any time.
5.4 Gift cards
An unused gift card can be withdrawn within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Once any part of it has been redeemed, the right of withdrawal ends.
6. Not happy? Say so within seven days
Every reading should feel as if it was written for you, because it was. If yours did not land, tell Ivy within seven days of delivery, at ivy@theivyveil.com or by replying to the delivery e-mail. Say what missed and it is read carefully.
Ivy Veil may then rewrite part of your report, offer a partial refund, or refund the full price. Which of these happens is at Ivy Veil's discretion, decided with kindness. This is a goodwill policy: it exists next to your legal rights, not instead of them. If a report does not match what you ordered (a wrong name, a question left unanswered), you always have the right to have that put right.
One request: if you can ask Ivy Veil for a refund, please ask before you open a dispute with your bank, card issuer or PayPal. A dispute freezes the money for weeks and puts a stranger between us. You receive an answer within three days, and there is no arguing over a reading that did not resonate.
7. Prices, payment and currencies
All prices include VAT at the rate that applies to you. For readings, the price is what you see; nothing is added. For jewellery, shipping costs are shown before you pay.
You can pay with credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and the other methods shown at checkout, all through Shopify Payments. Your order begins when payment is confirmed.
Prices are shown in euro and, where you shop from another country, in your local currency at a rate set by the shop platform on the day. The amount shown at checkout is the amount charged. Your bank or card issuer may add its own conversion or foreign transaction fee; that is between you and your bank.
Payments appear on your statement as IVYVEIL or as Magnolia Creations, the company name behind Ivy Veil.
8. Jewellery: shipping, delivery and defects
Ivy Veil ships worldwide from the Netherlands with PostNL. Delivery times per region and shipping costs are shown on the Shipping and Returns page and at checkout. They are estimates, not promises; customs and local postal services are outside Ivy Veil's hands. If a parcel has not arrived within 30 days of dispatch, say so and you receive a replacement or a refund.
Outside the European Union, import duties, taxes and handling fees may be charged by your country. These are for you to pay. Ivy Veil cannot estimate them for you.
You have the legal right to a product that is what was promised. If a piece arrives damaged or develops a fault that is not due to wear, say so; it is replaced or refunded, and Ivy Veil pays the return shipping. Natural gemstones vary in colour and pattern. Yours will not look exactly like the photograph, and that is part of what makes it yours.
9. The Weekly Circle (when offered)
The Weekly Circle is a monthly membership of €19 per month. Each week Ivy holds one ritual at her table for everyone in the Circle and afterwards sends you a short personal note. There is no minimum term. You can cancel any time in your account or by e-mail; your membership then ends at the close of the month you have already paid for, and nothing more is charged. The price may change with at least one month's notice, and you can cancel before the new price applies. If the Circle stops, any unused part of the current month is refunded.
10. Gift cards (when offered)
Gift cards can be used for any product on theivyveil.com, in one or more orders, and do not expire. They cannot be exchanged for cash, and a card whose code has been shared with others cannot be replaced.
11. Things Ivy Veil does not do, and who can order
You must be 18 or older to order. Ivy Veil does not write readings about anyone under 18, not even at a parent's request, and does not perform rituals aimed at changing the behaviour, feelings or choices of another person. Ivy Veil does not write readings on pregnancy, illness or medical questions as anything other than support alongside your doctor, and does not predict a person's health, a legal ruling or a financial result.
If an order asks for one of these things, it is cancelled and refunded in full, and you are told why. If your message suggests that you or someone else may be in danger, you are pointed to help before anything else.
12. Your report, Ivy Veil's words
Your report is yours to keep, print, read a hundred times and share with people close to you. The copyright stays with Ivy Veil. You may not sell, license, publish or reuse readings or reports commercially, or present them as your own work. Ivy Veil, in turn, never publishes or reuses your reading, and never shares what you wrote with anyone outside the people who write for you under a confidentiality agreement, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Reviews on this site are collected through a review app and marked as verified when they come from a confirmed order. Reviews are shown with your name or photo only with your consent.
13. What Ivy Veil is responsible for, and what it is not
Ivy Veil is responsible for delivering what you ordered with care, on time and as described. Ivy Veil is not responsible for decisions you take after reading your report. A reading is a way of looking, not a fact about the future, and your choices remain the strongest force in your life.
To the extent the law allows, Ivy Veil's liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, such as damage caused by intent or gross negligence, or death or personal injury. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
14. Complaints
Write to ivy@theivyveil.com with your order number. You receive a reply within three days, and Ivy Veil tries to solve the matter within fourteen. If it cannot be solved together, you are told in writing whether Ivy Veil is willing to take the matter to an independent dispute resolution body. If you live in another EU country, Norway or Iceland, the European Consumer Centre in your country (ECC-Net, eccnet.eu) gives free advice on cross-border purchases.
15. Law and courts
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you live in another EU country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your own country still protect you, and you may bring a claim before the courts of your own country as well as the Dutch courts.
16. Changes
Ivy Veil may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published on the day you ordered. Changes to a running membership are announced at least one month in advance.
17. In short
Every reading is written for you alone. Delivery begins right away, so the right of withdrawal ends once your reading is delivered; cancel free of charge until then. Not happy? Say so within seven days. Jewellery can be returned within 14 days. You must be 18 or older. Nothing is promised or guaranteed, and your choices remain the strongest force.
