This necklace in silver colour carries a natural amethyst pendant of about 2 cm on a fine polished stainless steel chain. The chain is 38 cm with a 7 cm extension. Premium stainless steel is waterproof, hypoallergenic and colour-fast, so the necklace is made for every day. Amethyst is a natural stone, so each pendant may be a little lighter or darker than the photo, with its own markings.
The stone
Amethyst is the stone of calm, the soul and protection. It is associated with rest, balance and inner strength, and with the clarity that comes when the mind settles. Worn at the throat it is a quiet reminder to breathe before you answer. Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is linked to Pisces and Aquarius.

What amethyst does
Amethyst is the stone of calm, clarity and protection: the one I reach for when a head is too full or a soul too open. It settles what is restless, clears what is foggy, and keeps what is not yours on the outside. Every piece leaves my table with an intention
Before a piece goes into its box, I hold it for a moment at my table, with a candle lit, and I speak an intention over it for the person who will wear it. If you tell me yours in the field above the button, I speak that one. If you leave it empty, I speak the intention the stone was made for. Either way it arrives with something already inside it.
