Ivy Veil says this plainly because it is meant. A reading is a way of looking at your situation with care and attention. It is not a fact about the future, and it does not make anything happen on its own. The weather is a force of nature and no one commands it, least of all Ivy. What a ritual does is clear and bless the energy around your day, so that you walk towards it in trust instead of vigilance. The same is true of love, money, work and health: your intention is held, your report is written for you alone, and your choices remain the strongest force.
