Give a reading

A reading or a ritual is one of the most personal things you can give: words written for one person alone, about the thing that is on their heart. There are two ways to give one from my table, and both arrive by e-mail, so there is nothing to wrap and nothing that comes too late.

1 · Let them choose: the gift card

Only they know whether it is a question about love, a day under an open sky, or a new beginning that wants to be held. With the Ivy Veil Gift Card they choose for themselves. You pick a value, write a few words of your own, and choose the date it lands in their inbox. It works for every reading, ritual and bundle, and it does not expire.

2 · Choose for them: a reading or ritual in their name

If you already know what they need, order it yourself. Put their first name and, for a reading, their date of birth in the fields, and tell me in your own words that it is a gift and who it is from. I write to them, not to you, and it arrives in your inbox, so you decide the moment: printed and folded into a card, or forwarded on the morning itself.

The ones most often given: the Birthday Reading for the year ahead, the Good Weather Ritual for a bride, The Perfect Wedding from a mother or a maid of honour, and Fresh Start for a friend who is beginning again.

What they receive

Exactly what every client receives: their name on paper at my table, a reading or a ritual report written for them alone, a check-in from me afterwards, and my guide "After Your Reading" to keep. You give the words. What they do with them is theirs, and that is the most loving part of the gift.

Questions

Do they need to believe in this?

No. They need to be willing to read a letter written with care. Many people who receive a reading as a gift tell me it was the first time in a long while that someone looked at their situation calmly and with love.

Can I give a reading without their date of birth?

Yes. For a ritual I only need first names and the intention. For a reading a date of birth makes it more personal, and the gift card avoids the question altogether.

How fast does it arrive?

A gift card arrives at once, or on the date you choose. Readings arrive within the hour and rituals the same day, seven days a week, during my active hours.

What can they expect?

Care, attention and words written for them alone. Readings and rituals are spiritual guidance, offered for entertainment purposes; nothing is promised or guaranteed, and their own choices remain the strongest force.
