How I read for you
I read from your full name and your date of birth, and from nothing else unless you want to add it. I hold your name in my attention and write down what arrives, in the order it arrives: the first thing I feel around you, then the currents moving through your life, each one a theme that came through on its own. It might be a conversation that keeps circling, someone who notices you more than they let on, a door opening at work, a rest you have been postponing. I write it as one story, in plain words, and it ends with your next step.
