You have counted the days, and somewhere along the way the ten-day forecast became a habit you never asked for. Rain icons over a place you have not even seen yet, and already the trip feels smaller than it did. Let me hold it for a while, so you can go back to looking forward to it. Some call it a vacation weather spell, others a sunshine spell for a honeymoon or a road trip.
Delivery

What happens at my table
A holiday is the one time in the year many people allow themselves to rest completely, and I understand why they want the sky on their side. When someone writes to me about their trip, I can usually feel how long they have been counting down. That longing is part of what I hold.
With your name, your destination and your dates on my table, I set out what belongs to a journey: a candle for the road, a little salt and water for safe passage, and sunstone for the light over the place you are going. I picture you there: light on the water, easy days, open roads, nothing to watch but where you are. I follow what the flame does while I hold it, and I stay until the trip feels already good, so that you can leave without checking the forecast every hour.
Your report tells you what I felt around your days away and what I worked with, and ends with a small ritual for the morning you leave, light enough to fit in a hotel room, a tent or the front seat of a car.
What I hold
Your journey, on paper, on my table: your names, the place and the dates, with a candle lit for the trip and the words spoken as already true. The ritual clears and blesses the energy around your journey, so that you travel in trust instead of vigilance and meet the days with the ease you went there to find. Read the report once at home, and once more on the first morning away; it is written to become part of the trip.
