Etsy witch fertility spell: how I hold a wish for a baby

Fertility and Conception Blessing by Ivy Veil: Ivy in a white dress in a lavender field at sunset

The internet knows me as the Etsy witch for weather, and I am happy to be: more than fifteen hundred brides, festival-goers and holidaymakers have found me that way. But one of the most tender wishes on my table has nothing to do with the sky. It arrives in careful sentences, often from someone who has told almost nobody: we are trying for a baby, and it is taking so long. So here is how I hold a fertility blessing, and what I will and will not do.

First, what a fertility blessing is

In my hands, a fertility spell is a blessing: an intention of welcome for a child who is wanted, and of rest for the people waiting. It is not medicine, it does not replace your doctor or your clinic, and it cannot make anyone pregnant. What it does is hold the hope for you for a while, so that you can put it down and breathe.

It is also very old. The pomegranate, full of seeds, stood for fertility from ancient Greece to Persia. Rice and grain were thrown over newlyweds for a full home. Across Europe the stork carried babies to waiting rooftops in a hundred bedtime stories. None of it ever promised a child. All of it said: there is room for you here.

What happens when your order comes in

Your first names go on paper in my handwriting. I lay them in a nest of dried chamomile and rose petals, with rose quartz beside them, and I light a candle for the child you are making room for. Then I hold two pictures. The first is your home with a little one in it: the sound of small feet, the extra chair at the table. The second is you, right now: cared for, calm, and not alone with the waiting. I stay until both feel warm.

Many of the people who write to me are in the middle of treatment. I hold that too, gently: your body resting, your mind quieter between appointments, and the two of you kind to each other on the hard days.

What I will not do

I will never tell you when. Timing creates hopes that break a little more each month, and fears that nobody should carry. I will never guess a boy or a girl. And I will never read a change in your body as a spiritual sign: a cramp, a symptom, a late period. Those belong with your doctor or midwife, every time. If something in your body worries you, please call them first.

If you have lost a pregnancy or a baby, tell me when you order. I hold your grief as gently as your hope, and I will never rush you past it.

Then I write to you

When the candle is out, I write down what I felt around your wish, the warmth and the tiredness both, and a small ritual of welcome for your own home. It arrives the same day, seven days a week, during my active hours. I check in with you afterwards, and you can always reply to my e-mail: I read it and answer you myself.

Your part, and it is the gentlest part

Choose one small corner of your home and make it the welcome place: a shelf, a windowsill. Put something there that means hope to you. Once a day, stand there for three slow breaths and say, in the present tense: There is room for you here, and I am cared for while I wait.

Then do one kind thing for yourself or each other that has nothing to do with trying. Hope grows better in a home where the people are looked after too.

What comes back to my table

"She's very attentive and warm, it was a very wonderful experience. I will for sure keep her words with me and ask for her services again."

Tamara, September 2026

"An absolute angel. She is thoughtful And so kind, took her time to really explain each step, and I've seen shifts since working with her. Would recommend!"

shellsbells, September 2026

I keep every one of these. The ones about babies I keep closest.

Which one is yours?

While you are hoping, the Fertility & Conception Blessing holds hope, calm and welcome. If the waiting fills every thought, Find Your Calm holds the quiet you need. And when the little one is on the way or has arrived, the New Baby Blessing is a welcome spoken over the cradle. All of it is together on my fertility spell page.

Questions people ask me about fertility spells

Are you the same Etsy witch who does the weather spells?

Yes. Same table, same candle, same care. Weather is what the internet found first; the wish for a child has been on my table just as long.

Can a fertility spell help me get pregnant?

I cannot promise that, and no honest person can. The blessing holds hope, calm and welcome beside your medical care, never instead of it.

Can you tell me when, or whether it will be a boy or a girl?

No, never. I do not predict timing or gender for a pregnancy.

Is it all right during IVF?

Yes. The blessing asks nothing of your body and changes nothing in your treatment. Keep following your clinic's advice.

What do you need from me?

Your first names, your date of birth, and in your own words where you are and what you wish for. Tell me if you are in treatment or have had a loss, so I can hold it with the right care.

Go gently with yourselves. There is room for all of it at my table: the hope, the tiredness, and you.
