If you are reading this, you probably have a date, a place, and a sky you cannot control. Welcome. Most of the people I hold rituals for arrive exactly here, and I am glad you found your way to my table.
Maybe you have started checking the forecast before breakfast. Maybe someone has told you, kindly, that rain on your wedding day is lucky. What you want is simpler than that: to stop bracing, and to look forward to your own wedding again. That is what this ritual is for.
What is a good weather spell for a wedding?
A good weather spell is an intention for a bright day, held for you with full attention. Your names, your date and your place go on paper, a candle is lit, and your day is spoken aloud as already true. You receive a written report the same day, with a sentence of your own for the morning itself.
What it does
It changes how you stand towards the day, and that is the whole point. A bride who has spent ten days checking the forecast every hour arrives at her wedding tired and braced. A bride who has handed the sky to someone who holds it for her, with attention and love, arrives open. Guests feel that. Photographs show it. And a day that is met with trust has a way of unfolding more kindly than a day that is met with fear. I have watched it too many times to call it coincidence, and I have stopped needing to explain it.
"Our wedding weather was everything we could have hoped for! The reading was thoughtful and reassuring leading up to our wedding, and Ivy even reached out after our wedding to ask how everything went."
Kimberly, September 2026
Older than any of us
People have asked the sky for a bright day for as long as there have been days worth asking for. In Japan a small white doll hangs in the window the evening before: a teru teru bozu, whose name means something like "shine, shine". In many Catholic families a rosary goes out on the clothesline, or into a bush in the garden, the night before the wedding, and grandmothers will tell you it has never let them down. On my page about the good weather spell for your wedding day I tell more of these stories, from Ireland to Spain and the Philippines.
What they share is the thing I love most about this work. Each one gives your hands and your heart something to do, so that you stop staring at the sky and start trusting it. A ritual is the oldest form of asking, and it has stayed with us because it does something real for the one who asks.
At my table
Your names, your date and your place go on paper, in your own words where you gave me them. A candle is lit for you, and beside it what a weather ritual asks for: water, most often, and sometimes a herb that belongs to a bright day. I speak the intention aloud as already true, "their day is bright, and they are laughing in it", and I feel it, fully, in a quiet that is yours alone. Then I write you a report from what I noticed, what I worked with and why, with a sentence for you to say on the morning itself. It arrives the same day, seven days a week, during my active hours.
See it, feel it, draw it in
There is a part that is yours, and it is the strongest part. What you hold in your mind with feeling, you draw towards you, the way a magnet does. That is the heart of the law of attraction, and the old rituals knew it long before it had a name.
So every evening until the day: a candle, a glass of water, and your wedding as if it is already here. The light on the faces you love, the warmth on your shoulders, the first laugh after the vows. Stand inside the picture until you can feel it in your body, then say your sentence aloud and drink the water. I hold the same picture at my table. Two people holding one bright picture pull harder than one.
What came back to my table
I keep every message. Some weeks I read them twice, because they remind me why I light the candle with my whole heart for every new name.
"Did this for my wedding and the rain held out long enough for our pictures! When it did rain it was extremely light! Originally our day had down pours but I'm so grateful for this and making our day as clear as possible!"
Danielle, September 2026
"The day before our wedding was thunderstorms. The day of our wedding was blue skies and sun, the day after was thunderstorms and torrential rain."
Tarnya, September 2026
I did not make those days. I held them, with everything I have, and something met me halfway. After more than two thousand names on my table, that still amazes me, and I am grateful every day that this is my work.
What you can count on
This ritual has been ordered more than 1,500 times, and what I give is the same every time: your day held at my table on the day you order, spoken bright, and a report that lets you walk into it calm. Afterwards I check in with you, and my guide After Your Reading comes with it, to keep.
When to order
Any time is a good time, but the sweet spot is two to four weeks before the day. Long enough for the report to settle in you, and for the morning ritual in my guide to become a habit: candle, glass of water, one sentence, one true feeling, a thank you. If the day is close, order today: your ritual is held the same day, and the full ritual and the full report come with every order.
What to write in the box
Your names, the date and the place are enough. But if you tell me one true thing about the day, the ritual is warmer for it: that your grandmother is coming and she does not travel well in rain; that the ceremony is on a cliff; that you have wanted this garden since you were nineteen. I hold the whole day, not only the sky.
Pair it with a Wedding Day Reading
Many couples add the Wedding Day Reading: the energy of the day itself, the two of you in it, the small things to keep an eye on, and what the year after wants from you. On my site it comes at half price beside the ritual, applied automatically at checkout. And if you would like a stone to carry the intention with you, rose quartz is the bride's stone: this is why.
After your day
Write to me. I mean it. Tell me how it was, send me a photograph if you like. More than 2,000 happy customers have taught me that the days I hold are the days I remember, and I would love to know how yours went.
Questions couples ask me
How far ahead should I order a good weather spell?
Two to four weeks before the day is the sweet spot. If your day is close, order today: your ritual is held the same day, seven days a week, during my active hours.
Can I order it for my daughter, my sister or a friend?
Yes, and many do. Order in your own name and give me their first names, the date and the place. Your report arrives in your inbox, so you decide when to share it.
What do I receive?
A report written for you alone: what I worked with and why, what I noticed while your day was held, and a sentence for your own morning. I check in with you, and my guide After Your Reading is yours to keep.
What can I expect?
A ritual held with care on the day you order, and a way to walk towards your day in trust. I promise no outcome and no one commands the sky: this is spiritual guidance, offered for entertainment purposes. Your own choices remain the strongest force.
