The internet knows me as the Etsy witch for weather, and I am happy to be: more than fifteen hundred brides, festival-goers and holidaymakers have found me that way, and the sky has been kind to most of them. But underneath many of the names on my table there is a quieter request, and it is not about the sky. It is: keep me safe. From a person who drains me. From a home that no longer feels like mine. From the heaviness I cannot explain. So here is how I do a protection spell, and what you can do at your own table this week.
First, what a protection spell is
In my hands, a protection spell is an intention for safety and strength, held with full attention for one person: your name on paper, a ring of salt, a candle, and words spoken aloud as already true. It does two things. It clears what you have been carrying that was never yours, and it strengthens the boundary that always was.
It does not attack anyone. I never send anything back, I never bind, and I never work on another person's will. Protection that needs an enemy is not protection; it is another fight. It is also very old: the blue glass eye by the door, salt along the threshold, rowan and red thread above a Scottish doorway. None of them hurt anyone. They simply kept what was not welcome on the outside.
What happens when your order comes in
Your name and your date of birth go on paper, in my handwriting, and beneath them the words you wrote me: the person who leaves you shaking, the house that feels crowded, the tiredness that sleep does not fix. Your words, not mine. Around the paper goes a ring of salt, the oldest boundary I know.
A white candle is lit for you, and beside it a protective stone, amethyst or black tourmaline, and a little sage smoke clears the air. Then I do what I believe in more than anything else in this work: I hold the picture of you as you are when nothing is pressing on you. Breath low. Shoulders down. A room full of people, and you still entirely yourself. I feel it in my own body, the way you will feel it on the day it is true, and I stay until the air around you feels clear.
When it is about one person, I hold the space between you: their words landing and sliding off, their pull on you loosening, thread by thread. I never send them anything. The work is on your side, and that is where it belongs.
Then I write to you
When the candle is out, I write down what I noticed while I held you: what felt heavy, where it seemed to attach, what lifted, and where your own strength has been slipping away without you meaning it to. That becomes your report, written for you alone, and it arrives the same day, seven days a week, during my active hours. No ritual builds a wall that nothing can cross. What it does is help you stand steady.
The report ends with a small clearing ritual for your home, with things you already have in the kitchen, and one sentence for the days that follow. Most people tell me afterwards that the sentence is what they remember, usually in the one room where they need it most.
Your part, and it is the strongest part
Open every window for a while and let the air move through the house. Sweep from the back of your home towards the front door, and out. Put a pinch of salt on the windowsill beside your bed. Then, once a day, stand with both feet on the floor, put a hand on your chest and say aloud: What is mine stays with me. What is not, I put down.
And practise one small no every day: the favour you have no room for, the call you let go to voicemail, the conversation you end a little earlier. A boundary grows stronger every time it is used. Two people holding one clear picture pull harder than one, and your own choices remain the strongest force there is.
And then it does not stop
This is the part I care about most, and the part that is different from a listing you order and forget. I check in with you, and my door stays open after that: you can always reply to my e-mail, and I read it and answer you myself. You also receive my small guide After Your Reading. Aftercare is not an extra with me; it is the norm, because this work can shift things, and I want you to leave my table with more strength, more energy and more clarity than you arrived with.
What comes back to my table
"Ivy's gentle words and guidance has helped me through an emotionally turbulent time in my life. It has meant a lot to receive her messages! Highly recommend :)"
Pam, Protection & Aura Cleanse, August 2026
"I was struggling with insomnia and Ivy swiftly sent a compassionate, insightful and detailed response. She helped me shift from fear to trust, from bracing to allowing myself to relax. Her messages empowered me."
Lindsay, August 2026
"She is amazing, God send angel on earth. Very helpful, compassionate. She helped me a lot go thru hard times. I am very grateful to her."
Monsa, August 2026
I did not fight anyone for them. I held them steady, and they did the rest.
Which one is yours?
If everything feels heavy and you want yourself and your home cleared, begin with the Protection Spell & Aura Cleanse. If one person is the weight, a manager, a relative, an ex, the Toxic Person Protection Spell puts a shield around you and distance on your side. If you need to let someone go for good, the Cord Cutting Spell releases the tie, and it is half price beside either protection spell. If you have been wondering whether you are cursed, let me look first: the Am I Cursed? Reading gives you my honest answer, and I wrote about it in Am I cursed? What I usually find. And for a home that needs a fresh start, there is the House Blessing. All of them are together on my protection spell page.
Is it different on my own site?
Same ritual, same table, same report. Here it is one price, held the same day, seven days a week, with all of the aftercare included. And you can write to me directly, as a real message, at any point. I answer every one myself.
Questions people ask me about protection spells
Are you the same Etsy witch who does the weather spells?
Yes. Same table, same candle, same care. Weather is what the internet found first; protection, love, home and money have been on my table just as long.
What do you need from me for a protection spell?
Your first name, your date of birth and, in your own words, what feels heavy or who drains you, and what you would like instead. If it is about one person, add their first name.
Can a protection spell hurt someone?
Mine never does. I send nothing to anyone and I never work on another person's will. The spell works on you: your energy, your boundary, your home.
Can you remove a curse?
I do not sell curse removals, and I would be careful with anyone who does. If you are worried, the Am I Cursed? Reading gives you my honest answer first, including when I feel nothing of the kind.
How fast is a protection spell held?
The same day, seven days a week, during my active hours. Orders placed while I am resting are first in line when I return, and your report arrives by e-mail.
What can I expect?
A ritual held with care on the day you order, a report written for you alone, and my check-in afterwards. I promise no outcome: this is spiritual guidance, offered for entertainment purposes, alongside good advice and never instead of it. If you do not feel safe, please contact the police or a helpline first.
If it is everything, begin with the Protection Spell & Aura Cleanse. If it is one person, the Toxic Person Protection Spell. And if you are not sure, the spell finder asks you one question and shows you what I would hold.
Go well, and stand steady.
Ivy
