Money manifestation is one of the most searched words around my work, and one of the most misunderstood. On this page I share what manifesting money means to me, how you can practise it at home, the old custom it stands on, and the rituals I hold for abundance at my table.

What is money manifestation?

Money manifestation is the practice of holding a clear picture of the abundance you want, feeling it as if it is already here, and letting that feeling shape what you notice and what you do. It rests on the law of attraction: what you hold in your mind with feeling, you draw towards you. In my experience it works best when it is calm and specific, and when it walks hand in hand with the real steps you take. A wish for money is rarely about the money itself. It is about room to breathe, freedom to choose, and the ease of knowing there is enough.

How to manifest money: see it, feel it, draw it in

Decide what enough looks like

Begin with a picture you can feel. Perhaps it is a month where every bill is paid with something left over, a savings pot that grows a little each time, or the freedom to say yes to a course you have wanted for years. Write down what enough looks like for you, in ordinary words.

Write it as if it is already yours

Turn that picture into one sentence in the present tense: "I have more than enough for everything I need, and room left for joy." Keep it short enough to remember, and true enough that your heart says yes when you read it.

Feel it before it arrives

Close your eyes and step into the picture. Where are you? What does your breathing feel like when money is no longer a worry? Let the relief and the warmth be real. That feeling is the part that draws.

Make a little room

Abundance likes a place to land. Tidy your purse or wallet, open the envelope you have been avoiding, or clear one small corner of your home. A little order tells you, and the world around you, that you are ready to receive.

Take the next small, real step

Manifesting is a partner to action. Send the invoice, ask about the raise, list the thing you no longer need, apply for the opportunity. A wish held with feeling gives you the courage for the step, and the step gives the wish somewhere to go.

Say thank you for what comes

Notice every small arrival: the coin on the pavement, the unexpected refund, the offer you did not see coming. Say thank you, out loud or on paper. Gratitude keeps the door open and keeps your eyes on what is already flowing towards you.

An old custom: turning your coins for the new moon

In Britain and Ireland people used to greet the first sight of a new moon by turning over the coins in their pocket, so their money would grow as the moon grew. Some bowed to the thin silver crescent as well, and some made a wish. I love that. No big ceremony, just a small, hopeful gesture at the start of the month, made with whatever was in your pocket.

A second custom is still alive in many families: never give a purse or a wallet empty. A coin goes inside, so that it is never without money and the person who receives it always has something to begin with. Both customs say the same thing in the simplest way. Treat the money you have with care, expect more, and let a small gesture carry your wish.
